Welcome aboard! Sit back, relax, and enjoy our fully equipped and 100% electric boat. Enjoy unlimited drink of your choice or a classic Dutch snack as we take you on a tour along the official Amsterdam Light Festival route. We’ll cruise through the oldest and most beautiful parts of the city, passing by dozens of the most inspiring and breathtaking light installations and effects.
During your Amsterdam Light Festival boat tour, our hosts will share local tips, must-sees, and stories about the city’s history and culture. We offer a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on board!
The 15th edition of the festival revolves around the theme of legacy.
Questions like “How do we want to be remembered?”, “What is our vision of the future?” and “What do we want to pass on to future generations?” are central. The official theme will be announced soon.

Absolutely! We love kids! We have life jackets for children in various sizes that you can borrow free of charge to wear on our boats. Please be sure to check the times and ensure they are suitable for your child.
Blue Boat has wheelchair-accessible boats. Baby strollers cannot be taken on the boat and must be left unattended on the dock. Folded strollers are not permitted on board, even if reported in advance.
It is allowed to take a dog with you on a boat, but make sure you bring your own rug for the dog to sit on. A maximum of 2 dogs can be brought on board per cruise that fits between the legs. Note: if someone on board is afraid or allergic to dogs, the tickets may have to be moved to a different departure time.
No. It is not permitted to play amplified music on the canals.
All our canal boats can be covered with a beautiful panoramic roof in case of bad weather. The Salon Boat can even be heated during cold weather. The cruise can always continue — except in case of a storm or when the canals are frozen (a unique situation).

For all tours, cancellations are possible up to a maximum of 24 hours before departure.
